2017 Row by Row

The theme for 2017 was On the Go. I wanted to continue using my flag as part of my row but what would be the rest. I finally decided on a wagon wheel. That is how Texas got it’s start with the settlers and covered wagons.

Now this wheel looks harder than it is. I had a special template made to get the wedge shape just right and other than that it is just a matter of sewing the pieces in the correct order.
I didn’t have a winner this year.  So no picture of a quilt, but here is the license plate.
