I had some difficulty with this theme. I am originally from Ohio and still have family there but. I have actually lived in Texas longer than I lived in Ohio. This is also the first year that I incorporated the Texas Flag into my row.
I settled on this little cottage looking house because in the country around Blessing this is exactly what many of the original houses looked like. I then decided that “Home is Texas” now. That is why there is a heart with the word ‘is’ in it.
My kit includes a pre-fused star for the flag and a pre-fused heart with the word ‘is’ embroidered on it. The house looks especially cute if you do some embroidery on it as shown here.
